Sqn Ldr B.A. Templeman-Rooke |
Target: Luftwaffe airfield. Flown in support of Operation MARKET GARDEN. Load: 20x 500lb bombs. This was the crew's skipper, Clewley's, 'second dickie' flight. There is a conflict of information between Templeman-Rooke's logbook and the Squadron ORB. I have listed the crew as given by T-Rooke. The ORB gives the crew as: T-Rooke, Ashton, Strand, Sollis, Holmes, Boyd, and West; T-Rooke's regular 'crew'. Barr's logbook also supports T-Rooke's. |
