TUESDAY, 30 NOV 1943

Eight aircraft were detailed for a night attack on Munich, in what would have been the Squadrons first operation. The briefing was held at 1400 but the Operation was cancelled later due to unsuitable weather conditions. In the days leading up to 01 December, new postings arrived each day including clerks, riggers, armourers, fitters, transport drivers and aircraft hands, and the time was spent equipping relevant sections and receiving the new arrivals.
