Cloudy, slight rain in the eastern part of the Group at first, but soon cleared. The weather became fair or fine over the whole Group after 1100 hrs and a cloud base of 2,500 ft. There was a temporary increase in upper cloud in the afternoon but was fine again by dusk. Visibility was reported as good.
