The Squadron was stood down once again.  

Flying Training

Conducted but no details.

ELSHAM WOLDS

A Flash Bomb exploded, causing 1698992 AC1 Shepherd to receive lacerations to hand and leg. He received First Aid treatment at Station Sick Quarters and was transferred to Scunthorpe Hospital.

No.1 GROUP WEATHER

Day

Cloudy, with 8/10 stratocumulus, base 2000 to 3000 ft. Visibility generally good but some local fog to the extreme west of the area, and 1000 yds in the Lindholme area.

Wind light north-easterly.

 

Night

Stratocumulus layers over the whole region, which dispersed soon after dusk. Visibility good but deteriorating slowly to 1000 yds inland in the west by 2300 hrs and over the Wolds by 0600 hrs. Local exceptions brought the visibility up to 2 to 5 miles.
